A Purple Dress
I really love simple dresses with beautiful details. They are the purrrfect thing to throw on in a pinch and can easily be dressed up or dressed down! This Scarlett & Jo skater dress with mesh and lace detailing is a perfect example of that.
I recently wore this purple number for a night out with black peep toe pumps and a clutch. However, today I was heading out for some shopping with my mom who is visiting and decided to dress it down with these boots from Torrid! If you order these shoes from online you should know that I’m normally a size 13 and had to buy these shoes in an 11 - they run very large!
Since I love the details on this dress I went very minimal with jewelry. Though, I rarely leave the house without my go to accessory: a bold lip!

What I Wore: Easy Glam
This shrug c/o 17 Sundays is the perfect piece to layer over an otherwise basic outfit to add some glamour! I love the fun pattern and the long length of this shrug. Even though this shrug is from the 17 Sundays spring collection it will work well for fall in NYC!
I paired this fun piece with my SWAK body-con dress, Ashley Stewart booties and a thrifted bag! This bag is my favorite thrift find to date. It is huge and can carry all the irrational things I refuse to leave behind at home! Haha.

What I Wore: Off to the Races
Being the sassy lady that I am, I completely fell in love with these leggings c/o 17 Sundays. I completely anticipate that these bottoms will be a staple in my fall wardrobe.
I decided to pair these amazing leggings with this shirt from Michael Kors. I love that this outfit is composed of two statement pieces that play well together!
Accessory wise I decided to keep it simple and just added a berry lip via YSL’s Rouge Volupte in the shade of Forbidden Burgundy. I’m getting my braces off next week so I had to throw in a photo that showcases my metal mouth while I still have the chance!

What I Wore: I Have a Bodycon Body
I love bodycon. I adore how it looks on all my beautiful curvy friends, however, I never thought that I had a body type that would look great in bodycon. I spent my childhood limiting myself - telling myself I wouldn’t look good in bathing suits, shorts and crop tops. Since I know I can rock the hell out of a bikini and a crop top, you’d think I would have learned not to put limitations on myself.
When SWAK recently sent along this bodycon dress I decided it was time to step out of my comfort zone, and you know what? I freaking love the dress. I have a bodycon body!
I paired the dress with my new favorite vest from Ashley Stewart! I love the combination of faux leather and chiffon. I literally have worn this almost every day for a week!
As for accessories, I threw on a necklace and earrings from Torrid and and the clutch is via Cole Haan.
So, my boyfriend is a chef and works the craziest hours ever! Since our time together is often limited by both of our crazy schedules we penciled plans to spend the evening together in our calendars. It was beautiful out so I decided to show some leg in this gorgeous Asos dress!
I paired it with these Christian Siriano for Payless shoes and a pink lip to keep the fun and playful feeling going. This outfit transitioned very well from strolling in the farmers market to a beautiful dinner outside!
